Spiritual Life

Worship is primary to the life of IBTS. Regular chapel hour is incorporated into the working hours wherein students, faculty and visiting dignitaries give devotional messages. Vernacular chapel hour on every Friday is meant for various groups of students to worship corporately in their native languages. Discipleship groups gathers on every Tuesdays under the mentorship of a teacher. Spiritual mentors are specially appointed to counsel them. Separate dorm prayer sessions for ladies and gents and evening worships help their daily devotional life.

Fasting Prayer

One day every month is set apart for an evening fasting prayer. The prayer is conducted over various needs of the Seminary and the community around, to present before God the plans and programmes for evangelization and involvement in community service. This is also a special occasion to pray for our sponsors, missionaries, and the graduates of the IBTS who have gone to different mission field to serve the Lord.
